Talking..well, cooing

Lola is a cooing machine. It is so fun to get her to talk to me during the day. I will sit with her and just coo waiting for her to speak back. I even called Matthew today so he could hear her, it was precious. Then when I finished calling him, I called my mom. She sang Itsy Bitsy Spider to her over the phone and I did the hand motions. She loved it and smiled at me. I have to say mom has some hidden talent of singing and does a pretty good job at it.

I am enjoying my job as being a mommy and taking care of my little family! The Lord has blessed us so much and the blessings just keep coming.

My Favorite Time with Lo!

I love spending the day with Lola (Lo) and seeing how she has developed over the past two months. (I can not believe it has been 2 months). Nighttime has become my favorite time with her. Not because I am leaving her but because we spend more time talking and discussing the next days plans. I also enjoy being with her because she smiles at me when I put her down and she coos and goos at almost anything I say to her, It melts my heart.

BUT, my most favorite part of the evening is praying with her and asking the Lord to give her a good nights rest, protect her, sweet dreams, allow her to wake rested in the morning and ready to play. The Lord has blessed us with a perfect baby and a baby that sleeps well at night. I am so happy she is ours.

9 Months Have Passed

Well, I am a slacker when it comes to posting blogs.

I have my sweet baby Lola, Oh Yeah, It's a Girl!!

She is so perfect and beautiful. She will be 2 months in a few days, 3 to be exact. I have never been so in love with anyone in my life.

I am so excited to share my story in a later post about the day I had her. I promise I will do better and post the exciting story!
